Word of Adventure was on hand with the Wasatch Backcountry Rescue for their international Avalanche Dog training school. At this school ski patrollers from around the world learn the latest rescue techniques to bring back to their home mountains and build their programs. We followed the winners of the first-ever Subaru and National Ski Patrol scholarship program, allowing three teams the chance to attend this school. These patrollers, both K9 and human, are extremely devoted to their cause and over the course of their partnership form an unbreakable bond.
