Nature Island Run -
MMA fighter-turned ultra runner, Kyle Dietz, has his sights set on the Waitukubuli National Trail in Dominica. The WNT is the longest continuous trail in the Caribbean, spanning 115 miles of wildly mountainous and volcanic terrain. Split into 14 segments, parts of the WNT are popular hiking trails, but up to this point, no one has documented an attempt to run the trail straight through without stopping, which is exactly what Kyle set out to do. Kyle pulls from his experience as a runner and a fighter to tackle what turned
out to be one of the greatest challenges he has faced as an athlete.
Hella Big Air -
The second annual 10 Barrel Hella Big Air pays homage to one of snowboarding’s greatest eras, the ‘90’s. Mt.Bachelor hosts the event each spring to celebrate a great season while inviting pros from all over to test themselves on a 90+ foot jump. In classic Mt.bachelor fashion, the ever-changing weather added yet another layer of complexity to the massive jump, weeding out only the hardest-charging riders and skiers to compete in this year’s competition.
